Holidays for Little Huskers is a program providing gifts and personal items to the children of current UNL students during the winter holiday season - at no cost to parents and guardians.
UNL students submit information about their children/dependents and are subsequently matched with a gift donor. Arrangements for gift drop-off and pickup are coordinated by the Gender and Sexuality Center staff.
Donor Signup for 2025 remains open until Oct 31.
Child Signup is FULL. No more submissions can be accepted for 2025.

Donor Signup
- September 24–October 31, 2025 | Donor signup period. Closes at 5 p.m. Oct 31.
- November 3–5, 2025 | Donor notification. You will receive an email with descriptions and details of the gifts to purchase.
- November 3–25, 2025 | Gift Drop-off from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday–Friday in Nebraska Union, Room 340.
Child Signup

- October 1, 2025 | Child signup opens. Signup closes when all spots are filled or at 5 p.m. Oct 31 (whichever happens first). You need an Amazon Wish List for each child you register. How to create an Amazon Wish List
- December 8–12, 2025 | Gift pickup period is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily in Nebraska Union, Room 340. You don't need to arrange a specific time, just drop by at your convenience during the open hours.
