Holidays for Little Huskers is a program providing gifts and personal items to the children of current UNL students during the winter holiday season - at no cost to parents and guardians.
UNL students submit information about their children/dependents and are subsequently matched with a gift donor. Arrangements for gift drop-off and pickup are coordinated by the Gender and Sexuality Center staff.

Donor Signup
- September 24 – October 31, 2024 | Donor sign-up period. Closes at 5 p.m. Oct 31.
- November 1–4, 2024 | Donor notification. You will receive an email with descriptions and details of the gifts to purchase.
- November 5–26, 2024 | Gift Drop-off from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday–Friday in Nebraska Union, Room 340.
Child Signup
- October 1–31, 2024 | Child sign-up period. Closes at 5 p.m. Oct 31. You need an Amazon Wish List for each child you register. How to create an Amazon Wish List
- December 9–13, 2024 | Gift pick-up period is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily in Nebraska Union, Room 340. You don't need to arrange a specific time, just drop by at your convenience during the open hours.
